The Senate Majority Leader is third in line to become President if necessary.
That’s why recent public incidents showing Sen. Mitch McConnell freezing like a deer in head lights are so concerning.
And one GOP Senator made a shocking claim about Mitch McConnell’s health.
Politicians live on a lie
We all know that politicians make a living off of lying.
But as the saying goes ‘hate the game, not the player.’
Because the sad thing is, if people called them out for those lies, they wouldn’t lie.
All they’re trying to do is get votes to make sure that they can keep on raking in the money and influence that they so crave as a politician.
Just think of all the big lies in national politics we’ve seen over the years.
Who can’t forget “read my lips no new taxes?”
Or how about “I did not have sex with that woman.”
And if those two lies aren’t enough to get you all fired up, what about the one Obama stated, “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”
But of all the lies we’ve seen in national politics, this one has to be one of the most unbelievable and memorable ones yet.
Mitch is “sharp”?
Mitch McConnell has been making the news lately, and not because of his cunning political abilities.
Headline after headline has covered the stroke-like symptoms he has had multiple times live on air.
BREAKING: Mitch McConnell inexplicably freezes up again while answering a question

Such health scares are not shocking merely for the fact that Mitch is 81 years old.
Anyone who is 81 years old should seriously consider retirement.
But for some reason, we have Mitch as the second-highest-ranking Republican official in the United States.
And the fact that he is one of the most influential men in the United States while having frequent bouts of silent confusion and blank stars should be concerning to everyone.
But even though we can all see the obvious, some in Washington, D.C., are trying to protect Mitch.
And Republican South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds made a claim about Mitch’s health that no one is buying.
Senator Rounds went on the Sunday political talking circuit and claimed that Mitch is in good shape.
He stated:
I spoke with Mitch yesterday afternoon and told him I was going to be doing an interview, and I wanted to personally touch base with him before I did that, and he was in good shape. He was direct. He said, you know, I had that concussion and they warned me that I would be lightheaded in the future and to be aware of it. And it happened twice, and it just happened I’m doing it in front of reporters. But he felt good yesterday. He said he’s got to watch his hydration levels.
Then he stretched his lie beyond the point of being believable.
The Senator from South Dakota uttered without missing a beat, “Mitch is sharp and shrewd. He understands what needs to be done.”
Here is how Mitch McConnell explained his freezes via Sen. Mike Rounds, “It happened twice.” He said: “It just so happens I’m doing it in front of reporters.”

Staring off into the distance for thirty seconds is the opposite of being sharp.
A couple decades ago this sign of bad health would have gotten you kicked out of Washington, D.C., but now it’s being protected by lies.
