Poll after poll at the national and state level shows Donald Trump running away with the 2024 GOP Presidential nomination.
And while it is too early to see what will happen in November 2024, if he wins, he will also need support in other parts of government to implement his agenda.
That is why this major Trump endorsement might determine the future of his agenda in congress.
It’s not just the White House up for grabs in 2024.
If Trump wins the election and Democrats maintain control of the United States Senate, then Trump’s agenda is dead on arrival.
Republicans only need to flip two Democrat held Senate seats to win back a majority.
And the top three targets on the board are in the ruby red states of Ohio, West Virginia, and Montana.
But Republicans also believe they can win in Arizona, where incumbent Senator Kyrsten Sinema is running for reelection and socialist Democrat Congressman Ruben Gallego is the Democrat nominee.
2022 Gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake announced her candidacy for the Senate, and Donald Trump recorded an endorsement video that Lake played for supporters at her campaign kickoff event.
“We’re leading every poll by a lot,” Trump declared. “And when I’m back in the White House, I need strong fighters like Kari in the Senate. She is a fighter. She’s strong. And she’s good. She’s got a great heart, by the way.”
During her launch speech, Lake focused on framing the race as a simple question of if the people of Arizona were better off today than they were four years ago.
“The only way to fix our problems is with America First policies. President Trump showed us how to do it. Remember four years ago we had $2 a gallon gas. The border was secure, inflation was non-existent, the economy worked for every American. We were thriving and then Joe Biden stumbles into the White House and he sent us on the kamikaze mission to total destruction,” Lake declared.
Lake also took one of her signature shots at the media, whom she lambasted as cheerleaders for the Democrat Party.
“The propagandists back there in the media have done absolutely nothing except cheer him on and cheer on the Democrats,” Lake continued.
Lake narrowly lost the Gubernatorial election to Democrat Katie Hobbs by 17,000 votes.
But a recent poll shows Lake holds an advantage in a three-way race with Sinema and Gallego.

Arizona will feature one of the most competitive Senate races in America.
Lake and the GOP are hoping the voter backlash to Joe Biden is enough to carry the day and put Lake in the Senate.
