GOP Presidential contender Nikki Haley has had a very rough couple of days.
First, she fell flat on her face giving what she claimed would be a detailed speech on abortion, that was anything but.
And then she made a shocking pro-Disney comment that had a Ron DeSantis super PAC calling her “Mickey Haley.”
Conservatives around the country are cheering Governor Ron DeSantis for standing up to woke Disney.
Showing the GOP how to fight
DeSantis has taken on not just Disney but the entirety of the radical woke cancel culture warriors.
He took on and beat the teachers union bosses, the radical LGBT transgender activists, and yes, the giant corporate mouse that is Disney.
In fact, he beat Disney so badly they are now suing him.
But some in the GOP just aren’t getting the message.
First, Donald Trump attacked DeSantis for taking on Disney’s woke activism.
And then the Never-Trump crowd at the disgraced Lincoln Project joined with Trump and attacked DeSantis for the same thing.
Not surprisingly, this left conservative activists scratching their heads.
Now former South Carolina Governor and Trump Ambassador to the U.N. has joined the fray, and it didn’t go over well.
Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it’s off to obscurity we go
In a recent tweet, Haley wrote, “Hey @Disney, my home state will happily accept your 70,000+ jobs if you want to leave Florida. We’ve got great weather, great people, and it’s always a great day in South Carolina! SC’s not woke, but we’re not sanctimonious about it either.”

The backlash was immediate.
And some are even saying that one tweet was the end of Haley’s short-run bid for the White House.
One Twitter user wrote, “This is embarrassing for you. I hope you know that.”
And another weighed in with a thought many astute political observers have had, “Quit pandering to be Trump’s VP, you’re better than that. This is pathetic.”
But Haley even went on Fox to repeat the invitation to the woke Disney.
That prompted even more backlash.
A Twitter user put it bluntly, “Nice of you to announce the end of your campaign on National TV.”
“Mickey Haley”
But it was the response of a DeSantis Super PAC, Never Back Down, that had conservatives cheering.
In a video posted on social media, Never Back Down responded to Haley’s appearance on Fox News’ “America Reports,” in which she invited Disney to move its operations to South Carolina.
Haley even said though South Carolina is “anti-woke,” she would welcome the jobs the company would bring with it.
Never Back Down pounced.
Their video included clips of Disney “officials” touting the company’s use of “LGBTQIA characters,” a “not at all secret gay agenda,” and trans, asexual, and bisexual characters, and then tied Haley to it all.
“I was just, wherever I could, just basically adding queerness,” one person said in the video.
Another appeared to tout giving “information about gender affirmation procedures.”
It also included a clip of a drag queen discussing Disney-inspired books.
The video then ended with a clip from Haley’s Fox interview saying she would “welcome” Disney to South Carolina.
“Mickey Haley” indeed.
