So-called “fans” become obsessed and then take to social media with disturbing claims and charges.
But popular game show host Steve Harvey just shut down these disturbing rumors about his wife.
Steve Harvey recently shut down rumors that his wife had an affair and that the two are getting divorced.
“I ain’t got no time for rumors and gossip, man”
Harvey talked about the status of his relationship with his long-time wife, Marjorie Harvey, during a recent appearance at the Invest Fest 2023.
“Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine,” the game show host stated. “Marjorie’s fine.”
“I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do, ‘cause we fine. Lord have mercy, man. I sure wish I could cuss though. Sometimes you just wanna respond, but I ain’t got no time for rumors and gossip, man. God’s been good to me, I’m still shining,” Harvey said.
Harvey was referencing recent online rumors that his wife had an affair and that the couple was preparing to divorce.
The cheating allegations first surfaced when a YouTuber known simply as “Keem” shared a post claiming Marjorie had extramarital relations with both Harvey’s security guard and the couple’s chef.
“Steve Harvey’s wife cheated on him with the bodyguard & the personal chef,” he wrote in a since-deleted post on X.
The YouTube star also shared a video of a speech Harvey previously made about his wife.

Marjorie Harvey has also decided to talk about the allegations against her.
She recently shared a post on Instagram that read, “How to Handle Being Lied About.”
Her post also contained a Bible verse about not retaliating.
“My husband and I don’t usually stop to address all the foolishness and lies that have been spread about us,” she wrote.
“However to whom much is given much is required. I understand that with my platform comes some sort of responsibility to those that may not be as strong as we are. Read and share this with your love ones that may not know how to properly cope. God Bless all of you,” Marjorie added.
Harvey and Marjorie have been married since 2007.
The couple has a large, blended family of seven children: Brandi, Karli, Broderick, Wynton, Morgan, Jason, and Lori Harvey.
Steve Harvey has become a mainstay on TV with his various talk shows and, of course, his hosting of the very popular game show Family Feud.
By almost all accounts, Harvey is a good, loving, and Christian family man, and there is certainly no doubt he is hard-working.
But all of that doesn’t stop the rumor mill and online predators from launching attacks on Harvey and his family.
In fact, some believe it is Harvey’s perceived Christian outlook on life that has made him a target.
In a perfect world, Harvey and his wife’s denials would be the end of the story.
Unfortunately, his detractors aren’t going to give up so easily.
