“Employees who are transitioning their gender have the right to be open about their transition if they so choose, and to work in an environment free of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation, and without fear of consequences or transphobia for living openly,” Fox policy states.
The handbook stated that Fox News is committed to ensuring “a more inclusive work environment” with its support of radical gender ideologies.
One anonymous source told The Daily Signal that upper management squashed any criticism of the latest woke controversy involving transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney’s partnership with Bud Light.
Upper management told the producers for Fox News Tonight, which replaced Tucker Carlson Tonight at the 8:00pm slot, not to attack Mulvaney on the program.
Fox received the highest workplace rating available from the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, a group that measures “LGBTQ+ workplace equality.”
A former employee said that Fox News management frequently touts this score in its employee training manuals.
“Fox News devotes hours of programming to attacking ‘woke companies,’ but ironically Fox is as woke as the rest of them,” a former Fox News employee told The Daily Signal, adding viewers would be “astonished to find out what the company is like.”
Fox’s policies appear to be in line with radical laws regarding gender identity in New York and California, where the network has large presences.
“They want you to think it’s this place that supports traditionally conservative values,” a former producer for Tucker Carlson said. “But in reality, they’re pushing this nonsense behind the scenes.”
When Fox News was questioned about the contents of the employee handbook, the company didn’t deny its contents.
“Fox News Media is compliant with all human rights laws mandated by the cities and states in which we operate, including New York and California,” a spokesman for the network said.
