Joe Biden’s Department of Justice has been weaponized to destroy anything the administration considers a threat.
And make no mistake, they consider Musk and Twitter(X) a threat because it allows criticism of the Left.
Thankfully, Elon Musk is not backing down and is fighting this outrageous lawsuit filed by the Biden DOJ.
Musk’s Threat Against Soros Triggers the DOJ
Elon Musk has threatened to sue organizations funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros for falsely claiming “hate incidents” are on the rise.
Musk claims they are only doing so in order to justify increased censorship on social media platforms like his.
Then, less than a day later, Joe Biden’s DOJ targeted Musk’s SpaceX with a lawsuit, supposedly for not hiring asylum seekers and refugees.
According to the lawsuit, the DOJ found that “SpaceX failed to fairly consider or hire asylees and refugees because of their citizenship status and imposed what amounted to a ban on their hire regardless of their qualification, in violation of federal law,” according to Kristen Clarke, assistant Attorney General of the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division.
“SpaceX recruiters and high-level officials took actions that actively discouraged asylees and refugees from seeking work opportunities at the company,” according to the DOJ complaint.
The DOJ said that over a nearly four-year period and across more than 10,000 hires, the company “hired only one individual who was an asylee and identified as such in his application.”
And, according to the DOJ, that lone hire came about four months after the DOJ notified SpaceX of its investigation.
The suit was filed in the Executive Office for Immigration Review, a division of the DOJ that investigates and prosecutes immigration cases.
SpaceX and other high tech rocket companies have for years asserted that its hiring practices are dictated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) law, which regulates the export of regulated technologies, such as rocket parts.
Under the ITAR an “export” is deemed to have occurred if technology is disclosed to a foreigner, even a foreigner who is in the U.S.
“Yet Another Case of DOJ Weaponization”
Musk responded to the DOJ assault, tweeting, “SpaceX was told repeatedly that hiring anyone who was not a permanent resident of the United States would violate international arms trafficking law, which would be a criminal offense.”
And Musk added for good measure, “This is yet another case of weaponization of the DOJ for political purposes.”
Musk is exactly right.
Exactly.
SpaceX was told repeatedly that hiring anyone who was not a permanent resident of the United States would violate international arms trafficking law, which would be a criminal offense.
We couldn’t even hire Canadian citizens, despite Canada being part of NORAD!

The Biden administration’s lawsuit against Musk is seeking “fair consideration and back pay for asylees and refugees who were deterred or denied employment at SpaceX due to the alleged discrimination,” as well as civil penalties and policy changes from the company.
Most industry insiders are scoffing at the Biden administration’s claims about SpaceX, as they have not filed similar lawsuits against Boeing, Lockheed, or Northrup for the same thing.
Instead of punishing @elonmusk for hiring American citizens over non-citizens, we should be celebrating him for putting our people first. This is all really just about the Dem thugs in the Biden DOJ being furious that Elon ended the censorship and brought Freedom of Speech to @X. https://t.co/3SKixKHQcY

The big question now is: will the House GOP cut, or even end, funding to the weaponized DOJ? Or will they let these attacks continue?
