Elon Musk made himself a top target of the ruling-class elites by turning the platform formerly known as Twitter into a free speech haven.
Now he’s putting his money where his mouth is on free speech once again.
And this time Elon Musk is taking on the entire global censorship regime.
Woke extremists are all-in on abolishing free speech
Last week, Irish journalist Ben Scallan dropped a bombshell report exposing woke extremist billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations’ alleged funneling of millions of dollars to various NGOs in order to advance a “censorship agenda in Ireland and Scotland that includes police searches of homes, phones and computers.”
Scallan pointed out that ruling-class elites, from the international level down to local Democrat officials stateside, have used the left-wing narrative that so-called “hate speech” is on the rise to justify their authoritarian crusade and rally mindless woke drones to help eliminate free speech.
But as the journalist noted with actual research and facts, actual “hate crimes” aren’t on the rise at all, just the reporting of them thanks to the woke left-wing outrage mob’s hysteria.
“The increase in ‘hate-based offenses’ is clearly from an increase in reporting, not actual hate crimes or ‘incidents,'” Scallan wrote.
Instead, Scallan warned that the “hype about hate” generated by woke extremism is being used by the ruling class to justify “a strict new ‘hate speech’ law” in what he rightly called an “unprecedented assault” on the free world.
“In the words of government politicians themselves, the law is designed to ‘restrict freedom’ and to ‘make it easier to secure prosecutions and convictions,'” Scallan added. “What’s more, the bill reverses the burden of proof under law — if accused of planning to distribute alleged ‘hate’ material, the onus is on the accused person to prove their own innocence.”
U.S. journalist Michael Shellenberger, who played a key role in the release of The Twitter Files, later posted a link to the article on X, drawing the attention of the platform’s owner, Elon Musk.
And based on his response, it’s safe to say that Musk was none too pleased with Soros and the rest of the ruling-class elites’ anti-free speech efforts.
Game on
In yet another move that proves he’s serious about using his stated commitment to free speech, Musk responded to Shellenberger’s post by declaring that he’s now going to take the fight directly to the ruling-class elites, like Soros.
“Exactly,” Musk wrote. “X will be filing legal action to stop this. Can’t wait for discovery to start!”

Soros told The New York Times back in 2016 that he was committing $10 million – a number that’s only grown exponentially every year since – to combat so-called “hate crimes” because of a supposed spike in such incidents against illegal aliens and minorities, which he claimed was the result of “dark forces” being awoken after former President Donald Trump was elected.
“We must do something to push back against what’s happening here,” Soros said.
One of the beneficiaries of Soros’ new-found commitment to destroying free speech was the woke extremist hate group, the Southern Poverty Law Center, which Democrats and their media allies have cited as a top source for tracking supposed “hate incidents” in the U.S., especially on social media.
Soros has obviously been the ultimate supervillain for freedom-lovers from around the world for decades, and standing up to his billions and woke extremist army has been a fight many have been afraid to take up.
But the world’s richest man entering the fray, to lead the fight on behalf of the global working class, completely changes the game.
Soros has always been able to simply bully anyone – including world powers – who dared to stand in the way of his woke extremist takeover of planet Earth, but that dynamic obviously changes when someone like Musk steps up to the plate.
And Elon Musk may have very well just thrown the ultimate wrench in George Soros’ woke extremist plan to eliminate free speech around the world.
