Disney shocked the woke crowd by sidelining the “Diversity Dwarfs” and listening to their audience

Nov 2, 2023

Lately, Disney has had the opposite of the Midas Effect: everything they touch turns to crap instead of gold.

The House of the Mouse has been turning off viewers with its never-ending virtue signaling to appease the cancel-culture mob.

But now audiences are in shock after learning Disney may have finally sided with them over radicals like Rachel Zegler.

Down with Disney

At one point, any new Marvel movie was a sure-fire hit just waiting to happen.

But then Disney turned these money makers over to the woke crowd and killed the franchises.

The result was a disastrous phase for the film franchises with flop-after-flop.

Disney did the same to the Star Wars money-making behemoth.

Even the latest installment of the new woke Indiana Jones was out done in theaters by the independent movie, Sound of Freedom.

And now, in its seemingly never-ending quest to churn out a live-action remake to every great Disney classic animated movie – each release is worse than the last.

And the root causes are always the same.

Instead of focusing on character, plot, and setting, Disney is focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Already this year, Disney spit all over the legacy of Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid.

Next up on the chopping block, the story that put Disney on the map, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Snow White meets 2023

The story of the pale-skinned, dark-haired beauty who was the fairest in all the land first hit big screens for Disney back in 1937 as the company’s first feature-length animated film.

Despite the track record of success and the important role the movie played in the company’s history, Disney is giving the classic a modern twist.

And that twist, as you’d expect, is to make it woke.

First, they cast Rachel Zegler, a Hispanic actress, to play the titular character.

There’s zero wrong with hiring a Hispanic woman in a lead role; however, this is Snow White — it’s in the name.

Additionally, Zegler spilled the beans that Disney changed the entire plot and moral of the story to fit in the woke world.

Zegler mocked both the original source material and all the fans of it when she smugly proclaimed, “It’s no longer 1937.”

“She’s not gonna be saved by the prince and she’s not gonna be dreaming of true love,” Zegler continued. “She’s dreaming about becoming the leader that she knows she can be, and the leader that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave, and true. So, it’s just a really incredible story for young people everywhere to see themselves in.”

And then, perhaps worst of all, Disney removed the seven dwarfs from not just the title but from the movie altogether.

In place of the iconic dwarfs, Disney put on a diversity showcase of tall actors of every race and gender.

Is Disney doing what’s best for business?

Fans weren’t shy expressing their displeasure with what the Mouse was doing to one of their childhood favorites.

Disney has been on the receiving end of an endless stream of criticism about its changes.

And now, it appears Walt’s old company may be tapping out and forgoing the woke propaganda.

Disney put out a statement explaining it was pushing back Snow White’s release a full year.

The statement included CGI dwarfs replacing the previous “diversity dwarfs” as they’d been labeled.

Ian Miles Cheong is reporting the movie is being almost entirely reshot in hopes of addressing the concerns of fans.

“Disney has almost completely rewritten its live-action Snow White film, with extensive reshoots,” Cheong tweeted. “The movie has been delayed by a full year from March 22, 2024 to March 21, 2025. Among the things that ended up on the cutting room floor are the diverse dwarves, replaced now with CGI dwarves that look close to the original cartoon.”

However, only time will tell if Disney has gone back to the original story or are going to keep the woke narrative largely in place but just toned down.

And for many fans, unless the radical Rachel Zegler is removed from the titular role, the movie will remain a no-go.
