The FBI finally complies
On Thursday morning, House Republicans were set to vote on a resolution to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in Contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over a document subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee.
According to House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the FD-1023 form in question “describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions.”
Rep. Comer added that the document reportedly “includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose.”
After Wray refused to comply with the Committee’s subpoena requesting the document, Comer filed a resolution to hold the FBI Director in Contempt of Congress – a move even establishment elitists like, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), supported.
However, just before the scheduled vote, the Oversight Committee announced that the vote had been canceled after Wray finally agreed to turn over the document to every member of the Committee.
“After weeks of refusing to even admit the FD-1023 record exists, the FBI has caved and is now allowing all members of the Oversight and Accountability Committee to review this unclassified record that memorializes a confidential human source’s conversations with a foreign national who claimed to have bribed then-Vice President Joe Biden,” the Committee wrote in a press release. “Allowing all Oversight Committee members to review this record is an important step toward conducting oversight of the FBI and holding it accountable to the American people.”
The House Oversight Committee shared the news on Twitter.
“BREAKING, @RepJamesComer forces the FBI to cooperate!” the Committee wrote. “The FBI will allow all members of our committee to review the Biden bribery record and receive a briefing. We will continue to follow the facts and ensure accountability for the American people.”

Biden begins sweating bullets
There’s little doubt Biden paced the floor – likely falling over at least once – over the news that the FBI had finally caved and turned over the apparently incriminating document.
During his time as Vice President, his son, Hunter, took over 400 trips to 29 different countries, including Communist China and Ukraine.
President Biden has depended on the FBI and Justice Department to keep Republican investigators off his trail since the allegations of his family’s corruption first came to light during the 2020 Presidential election.
But the FBI and Justice Department can only protect him for so long.
