This new GOP Senator just used a shocking story to shame the media for ignoring this Biden-created crisis

While Americans are stunned by the sheer numbers of illegals flooding the border, the media ignores an essential aspect of the story.

Just watch mere minutes of any of the newscasts on the major networks, CNN or MSNBC, and you’ll have plenty of evidence proving the media is little more than the public relations arm of the Democrat party.

But now, one brand new GOP U.S. Senator is using a shocking story to illustrate how Big Media completely ignores this major crisis President Joe Biden created.

President Biden has created a crisis on the U.S. southern border

According to numbers from Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), more than 8 million illegals have invaded the United States since Joe Biden took the oath of office back in January 2021.

That’s roughly the population of the entire state of Virginia – the 12th largest state by population in America.

In other words, 38 states have a smaller population than the amount of illegal aliens President Joe Biden has encouraged to break the law and enter the country.

And the White House is only exacerbating the crisis.

The latest numbers currently available are from August.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform is reporting that the Department of Homeland Security released data late in September showing more than 300,000 migrants broke into the country illegally in August.

That actually breaks the record for most border encounters in the month of August since numbers first started being tracked.

To put that staggering number in perspective, imagine the entire population of Cincinnati, Ohio, crossing the border illegally in a single month.

And it’s a 50,000 illegal encounter increase over July.

However, despite the crisis being clear, the corporate-controlled media has been largely silent on the issue.

Republican Senators are starting to speak up about Bid Media covering the massive problems the Biden Administration has caused.

The GOP takes a stand

Several GOP Senators, led by Ted Cruz of Texas and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, held a press conference this week to scold journalists for their dereliction of duty.

Alabama’s new U.S. Senator, Katie Britt, was one of the Upper Chamber members on hand.

And it was her stunning testimony that has gone viral and caught the attention of the American public.

Her statements are in the above video, and it truly is a must-watch moment.

“Women would tell us their stories, and they are brutalizing, and as Sen. Cruz said, if you are not telling it, that’s on you,” Britt started.

“When a woman sits there and tells you not just about being raped but how many times a day she’s raped. When she tells you about having to lay in that bed while they come in and out and in and out, it’s disgusting, and it’s despicable.”

And according to Britt, brutal rapes aren’t the only atrocities taking place along the border.

“I looked in the eyes of CBP agents who said, ‘We’re exhausted, we’re not only having to be paper pushers, we’re often trying to do what we took an oath of office to do, and that is to protect this border. But when they tell you about finding small children who had drowned in that river or pulling the lifeless body of a woman who is pregnant with twins, it changes the way you think about what’s happening.”

Sen. Britt names names

But Britt was just getting warmed up – blaming President Biden for the problem and shaming the fake news media for running cover for Democrats’ failed immigration policies.

“Folks, you look at the number of people that have died at the border because Joe Biden has made it more and more enticing to come here,” Alabama’s Junior Senator said.

“Make no mistake, this is the result of failed policies. We can fix this. We cannot throw money at this and fix it; we have to actually change the policies.”

Britt pointed out that Mexican drugs have now replaced the mafia running the “protection” racket.

“Drug cartels, guys, they have their tentacles all over this country,” Britt stated.

“We need you to start telling that story. Just the other day in Alabama, a gentleman told me, ‘If you will come back here with me in this neighborhood right behind you, you will see migrants who are here illegally, and they will tell you about the drug cartels coming around every other week to collect.'”

Britt then summed things up with a perfect analogy.

“Guys, that’s not the American Dream,” the Senator said. “That’s an American nightmare.”

Britt’s testimony has been spreading wildly on social media.

While she brings up a lot of meaningful points, she doesn’t even get to address the fact that illegal immigration drives down wages and exacerbates the existing housing shortage in America; that’s making home-buying and renting out of reach for more and more hardworking American families.
