Disney under fire again for claims by radical left-wing actress about this woke remake of a timeless classic

It seems Disney just can’t catch a clue.

Following a disastrous foray into pro-transgender politics, the once proud entertainment company saw its revenues slashed.

And now Disney is under fire again for these claims by a radical left-wing actress about this woke remake of a timeless classic.

Rachel Zegler, the actress who plays Snow White in the live-action remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, is back in the news.

And once again, she has made comments about the upcoming Disney remake of the classic animated film that have fans horrified.

A different and fully woke approach

In her bizarre attempt to promote the Snow White remake set to be released in March of next year, Zegler instead simply attacked the entire premise of Snow White.

And this time, Zegler called Prince Charming a “stalker.”

“The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so,” Zegler said. “There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird. Weird. So we didn’t do that this time.”

“We have a different approach to what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we like cast a guy in the movie,” the 22-year-old woke actress continued.

“It’s one of those things that I think that everyone is gonna have their assumptions about what it’s actually gonna be,” she went on. “It’s really not about the love story at all, which is really, really wonderful.”

The actress is literally going out of her way to destroy Snow White, and fans are furious.

No men allowed

Zegler even suggested that all of her male co-star’s scenes could be completely cut from the film.

Andrew Burnap plays Prince Charming in the new Snow White.

And of course without Prince Charming, Snow White doesn’t ever wake up.

Kind of hard to be woke if you’re not awake.

This is not the first time that Zegler has made such comments when trying to promote the remake of the Disney classic.

“I just mean that it’s no longer 1937,” Zegler said in a previous interview. “And we absolutely wrote a Snow White, that is, she’s not going to be saved by the prince and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love.”

“She’s dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and the leader that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave, and true,” Zegler said of her character. “So it’s just a really incredible story for young people everywhere to see themselves in.”

Zegler has come right out and admitted the remake is a woke version, saying in October 2022, “People are making these jokes about ours being the PC Snow White, where it’s like, yeah, it is — because it needed that. It’s an 85-year-old cartoon, and our version is a refreshing story about a young woman who has a function beyond Someday My Prince Will Come.”

In another interview Zegler said, “The cartoon was made 85 years ago, and therefore it’s extremely dated when it comes to the ideas of women being in roles of power and what a woman is fit for in the world.”

“And so when we came to reimagining the actual role of Snow White, it came about that the fairest of them all, meaning who is the most just, and who can become a fantastic leader,” Zegler added.

But Zegler isn’t the only woke actress bashing Snow White.

The actress who plays the Evil Queen in the new Snow White movie, Gal Gadot, chimed in saying, “Also the fact that she’s not going to be saved by the prince, and she’s the proactive one, and she’s the one who sets the terms, is what makes it so relevant to where we are today.”

Despite being months away from its release date, Disney’s remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has been rife with controversy.

Walt Disney was caught in a controversy regarding leaked photos of the dwarfs from the production of the movie.

The photos showed that Disney is not actually casting dwarfs or little people to play the dwarves.

After major outrage, Disney initially described the images as “fake.”

Disney has also been criticized for casting a Hispanic actress in the role of the Germanic Snow White.

These latest controversies follow closely on the heels of the company losing some $900 million at the box office from their last few movies.

Maybe now the Disney execs will figure out going woke is no way to stay afloat.
