Joe Biden’s decision to seek a second term came as a surprise to many Americans.
Biden is already the oldest President in history and suffers from severely declining mental and physical abilities.
But now all hell is breaking loose after Hillary Clinton said these five words about Joe Biden’s age.
Joe Biden’s decision to seek re-election ended Hillary Clinton’s lifelong dream of becoming President of the United States.
Hillary Clinton is currently 75-years-old and would be 81 by the time the 2028 Presidential election comes around.
Even though her chance of winning the Presidency is virtually all but over, Clinton is still a top force in the Democrat Party.
She recently attended the Financial Times Weekend Festival in Washington, D.C.
Financial Times editor Edward Luce brought up the videos of Joe Biden struggling with a simple flight of stairs at the G-7 summit in Japan.
“There was that heart-stopping moment when he almost fell over coming down the stairs a day or two ago,” Financial Times editor Edward Luce said. “He didn’t use a railing, and Jill wasn’t there with him,” he continued, before adding that “every time that happens, your heart is in your mouth because these things could be consequential.”
“Is that a concern?” he asked Clinton.
Surprisingly, Clinton gave an honest answer.
“It’s a concern for anyone,” Hillary Clinton replied. “We’ve had Presidents who had fallen before who were a lot younger, and people didn’t go into heart palpitations.”
But Hillary Clinton then admitted that “his age is an issue.”
“But his age is an issue, and people have every right to consider it,” Clinton added. “But, you know, he has this great saying – and I think he’s right – don’t judge him for running against the Almighty but against the alternative.”
However, Clinton quickly brushed over her statements about his age by citing his alleged achievements “in terms of jobs and growth and planning for the future with CHIPS and other stuff.”
“He has a good record that, three years ago, people would not have predicted would have gotten done,” she said. “So, I obviously hope he stays very focused and able to compete in the election because I think he can be re-elected, and that’s what we should all hope for.”
Joe Biden will be 82-years-old in 2024.
Despite his clearly declining mental and physical abilities, Biden is asking Americans to keep him around until he is 86-years-old.
Polls show the majority of Americans, including Democrats, did not want Biden to run for a second term, which helps explain why only 22 percent of voters in his own Party are excited about his campaign.
Joe Biden’s declining mental faculties will only get worse between now and the 2024 election.
Overcoming this objection will be the biggest obstacle to Joe Biden’s re-election.
